You must stay at the Busselton Guest House! Tonight is our third night here and it is just great. It is a big sprawling house with 6 rooms for guests (we have been the only ones here the whole time though), a living room area, dining room, games room with pool table, free laundry, and a gorgeous huge backyard with a covered area with deck furniture and a hot tub. It is only a block or two from a great running path right along the water. The owners are very laid back and friendly and provide a great breakfast in the mornings. Best of all it was a great price at $105/night.
Yesterday we drove over the Bunbury to go to the Dolphin Discovery Center. It is situated along Koombana Bay where bottlenose dolphins often come close enough to shore for visitors to see. We didn't get to see any but enjoyed the displays inside that gave information about dolphins, the aquariums with other aquatic life, and especially enjoyed the Digital Dolphinarium which is a room with a 360 degree movie of sorts depicting different aspects of dolphin life including the birth of a calf, a shark attack, and a feeding frenzy.
