The Beginning of the End

It's been a busy month since I last posted. We recently got back from a trip to San Diego where I ran a marathon. We also went to the San Diego zoo, to see the seals on a beach in La Jolla, and to a Dodger game. Last week was my last week babysitting Audrey. It was so hard to say good-bye to her. She is a wonderful little girl and I loved taking care of her for the last year and a half. Ben is at work at the hospital right now and has 3 more shifts after tonight until he is done. It has been a hard couple of weeks for him getting all of his shifts in before we leave. We still have lots to do to get ready to leave for Michigan on the 30th and want to be able to enjoy Chicago while we are still here. We are very excited to spend time with our families when we get to Michigan. No Tasmania updates. I think we finally got all of the paperwork in including Ben getting fingerprinted. Luckily Sarah is trained to do fingerprints so we went to her office for this. We are just waiting now to hear about our visas and what the next step is. That's all for now.
